This is exciting and challenging opportunity with a leading name in the Development Management arena. The requirement is for a Project Surveyor or Cost Manager to work on major building projects in London.
You will be part of a small but dynamically managed commercial team who specialise in high end residential and hospitality led projects, with values typically in excess of £200million.
Projects commonly involve a `partnering` arrangement, where the client and the whole project team form a non-adversarial single unit to ensure the effective and efficient management of each project. You will work closely with the appointed Consultants and be the interface for the client, reporting to the Commercial Director.
Additional responsibilities will include preparing cost estimates, appointing specialist subcontractors, change orders and managing trade accounts to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
You will be qualified to degree level (BSc Quantity Surveying or Construction Management) and could be from either a PQS of PM/CM background, similarly a main contracting background.
