Speyhawk Ltd are recruiting for a RICS Senior Building Surveyor to join a multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy in London in the field of development management for Major building projects, both new build and regeneration of private and public sector residential.

An opportunity to work for a long-established independent Development Management Consultancy in London. They can offer a flexible working arrangement to allow a healthy balance between working from home and their well-appointed offices.

This is a new position that would suit a versatile individual who has the drive and ambition to work autonomously and gain exposure on some exciting regeneration schemes to include repurposing landmark buildings and redeveloping brown field sites for new housing, both public and private sector.

It’s likely you will be qualified RICS Building Surveyor and from a technical building surveying background, working for either a building surveying practice or construction consultancy. Previous experience of residential/housing schemes working closely with local authorities and planning bodies would be a distinct advantage. Responsibilities will include building safety works, defect diagnosis for remedial works, pre-acquisition surveys and feasibility studies.

Candidates must already be living within a daily commute of London and have relevant Building Surveying experience gained in the UK.
