£45,000 – £50,000 plus mileage allowance, stakeholder pension and profit share
Our client is a privately owned and operated professional Construction Consultancy that offer a full suite of services to include, design, project management, programming, building surveying and quantity surveying.
Due to a period of planned expansion, they have created a new position that would suit a versatile Building Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor or Project Management professional who could fulfil a dual role, advising on both contractual and project management matters, but with the ability to adapt drawings using CAD. They are not looking for a designer though, the role will involve all aspects of project management from planning and programming, through to project delivery of projects between £500,000 & £10 million typically in value.
They have a diverse client base, spanning the care sector, health, education and private houses (new build and extensions). They work with contractors, developers, end clients and investors alike. Candidates are likely to be from a Building Surveying or Construction Management/Consultancy background with a good all-round knowledge of building and general construction methodology.
Candidates do not necessarily need to be qualified but must have credible experience of running contracts of a similar nature (design & build construction projects in the UK) and the ability to use CAD for internal design projects.
Our client promotes further education and personal development and it would be a great environment to develop your career and achieve professional accreditation (Chartership). The directors encourage and promote personnel from within and can offer long term career prospects.
