Speyhawk Ltd are recruiting for a Consents Project Manager Construction / Planning Consents Manager for a leading management consultancy working on major infrastructure projects in the UK.
Basic Up to £75,000 + Pension & Annual Bonus (10%)
The challenge offered by this unique appointment demands a highly motivated individual, who is looking to develop their career in the specialist field of Consents Management on major infrastructure projects in the UK, to include green energy, power station’s, ports, roads and rail.
The Consents Management team is a standalone business unit, offering a cohesive service to contractors, consultants and government agencies alike. The modus operandi of the consent management team is to ultimately support clients in managing compliance, mitigating contractual risks and providing a fast route to delivery.
This role doesn’t just stop at the point of planning approval, they track the entire lifecycle of projects, acting as the interface between the integrated project teams and planning authorities, managing the compliance for items such as waste management, environmental permits, project governance, risk registers, discharge requirements, programme, costs and quality metrics.
However, our client is not looking for a Project Planner / Programmer, nor are they looking for someone from an IT / Agile Project Management background. The team is made up of town planning, environmental, project management and legal professionals, so it’s likely you will be from one of these allied fields.
You will require prior exposure working on major bids / construction project as a Consents Project Manager, alternatively a Town Planner or Environmental Manager involving:
- Compulsory Purchases Orders
- Development Consent Orders
- Property Acquisitions and Land Assembly
- Land Referencing
- Transport & Works Act Orders
The role can offer the flexibility of remote working with a split between their regional offices and projects as and when required. You will be able to communicate to a high level, interacting with Contractors, Consultants and key Stakeholders.
The remuneration figure shown assumes a basic salary of up to £45,000 per annum + a bonus of 10%, in addition sick pay and pension contribution.
