Design Manager Construction |Luxury Fit-Out | Super Prime London Residences

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager from a contracting background to act as the lead on a flagship high-end residential development in London, acting on behalf of a long-established luxury fit-out contractor, who has reputation for excellence and innovation.

In this role, you will be the link pin between the design and operational interface on a live project, ensuring all design information is fully coordinated and compliant with client requirements, programme timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage internal design team, consultants and subcontractors to meet programme and budget requirements.
• Chair design meetings, monitor approvals and oversee RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Building Regulations, CDM, and project standards.
• Provide technical solutions to design and buildability challenges.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder communication, providing regular updates.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally a qualification in a construction related field, construction management or design.
• Proven experience in design management on luxury construction or fit-out projects.
• Excellent knowledge of 2D/3D design, BIM processes and design coordination.
