Freelance HR Manager | Six Month Contract | Construction Sector | Up to £300 per day | South East London
A leading construction company are seeking an HR professional, ideally with expertise in the construction sector and operational human resource management for a medium sized enterprise, leading its people function and supporting their growth and driving best practice across their business.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Personal Development Manager, this is a great opportunity to work for a business that adopts traditional values and acknowledges and rewards personal achievements.
Key Responsibilities of HR Manager:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all HR matters.
- Lead on performance management, employee relations, talent development, and workforce planning.
- Oversee recruitment, learning & development and wellbeing.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager ideally within construction or engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skills.
- Able to lead HR strategy while remaining hands-on.
- CIPD Level 5+ preferred.
