An established commercial fit-out contractor is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join its growing team, delivering projects across the public and government sectors, typically ranging from £30k to £2m.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with some existing construction experience who is looking to develop into project management. A degree is not essential; practical industry experience, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are more important.
Based primarily from our client’s offices, you will shadow an experienced Senior Project Manager as part of a structured training programme, progressively taking responsibility for your own projects.
The role includes:
- Supporting the delivery of commercial fit-out projects.
- Working with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assisting with programmes, procurement, costs and project reporting.
- Site visits and project coordination across the Midlands to South Coast.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within construction or fit-out.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A genuine desire to build a career in Project Management.
