MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor – Health Care & Commercial Projects - London

Up to £75,000 per annum, plus travel, health, pension and profit share

A progressive Cost and Project Management Consultancy are recruiting for a Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager to join their specialist health care division in the New Year. A long-established name within the project and cost management sector, they have built up an enviable reputation and client list, ranging from local trusts through to leading private health care providers, with values ranging typically from £5million - £50m.

They offer a full turnkey service across all disciplines, CAPEX refurbishment, new build and acquisition and transfer. You will be responsible for creating effective cost plans, procurement strategies, value engineering and day to day commercial management of projects post contract, overseeing a small team. You will work closely with the client’s team, design consultants and supply chain.

This role is office based in the City with travel to sites within central London and the M25. You will have recently completed your APC and either MRICS qualified with relevant quantity surveying / Cost Management experience working for a consultancy or commercial practice on commercial, hospital or health care related projects in the UK.

  • MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor
  • Cost Management Experience (Consultancy)
  • Experienced of commercial, health care or hospital projects
  • A background in Building (not heavy civils, infrastructure or oil and gas)
  • London based or within daily proximity
