Project Accountant Construction | Property Development London

Up to £375 - £400 per day shift – 12 month fixed term contract

This exciting appointment is with a leading construction development organisation working on major projects in London (£250m+). The requirement is for a commercial astute Accountant preferably from a construction or development background with experience gained on major building projects.

Key duties

• Assisting project teams with external audit
• Resolve outstanding queries with trade accounts to avoid cash deductions
• Maintain accurate bank postings within the accounting system including weekly reconciliations

It is likely the successful applicant will be a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACMA, ACA) with three or more years accounting experience in a commercial/construction environment. Strong attention to detail and effectively prioritise multiple tasks using SAGE accountancy software or similar equivalent.

The position is offered on the basis of a 12 month fixed term.
