Up to £120,000 + Generous Benefits Package & 20% Bonus

Our Client is a leading organisation with national operations. They have an urgent requirement for a Senior Construction Professional to join them in a Contracts Management/Advisory capacity, working on a number of contracts and proposals, including new builds, general maintenance works, as well post contract defects and repairs on a major projects.

This role is unique and could suit someone from either a Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, Contracts Administration background or similarly a Contracts Manager who has a good all-round understanding of construction and the ability to identify risk, limit claims and resolve issues in a non-contentious way.

The successful candidate must demonstrate at least ten years intensive experience in the UK building sector, together with a detailed understanding of general building contracts, sub-contracts and supply chain agreements and must be capable of preparing project risk reviews and reports. Previous claims experience is essential with typical values in excess of £20million.

An expert knowledge of supplier agreements and implementing procurement routes is demanded and the ability to set up a network of specialists to carry out repairs nationally. As well as being commercially minded this is very much a policing role so you will be responsible for implementing and auditing the general quality assurance for the appointed specialists.

The package offered is first class and includes an above average basic salary of up to £120,000, in addition a fully expensed company vehicle or a car allowance is offered.  There is an attractive bonus scheme based on individual personal performance, private health care, pension and 28 days leave per annum.
