The company is progressive, dynamic and forward looking, offering a turnkey solution in total retail store design and concept development for projects in the UK and Internationally.
To assist the implementation of their ambitious expansion programme, they now require a dedicated Technical Designer to create bespoke brand fixtures and furnishings for some of the worlds must prestigious retail brands.
You will work closely with Project teams and be involved from the outset, receiving briefs, agreeing objectives, creating sample boards and producing technical 3D drawings ready for manufacture. Previous experience of conceptual and Technical Manufacturing / Design engineering is essential within the shop fit-out industry or similarly a brand or major retailer.
The role could involve occasional travel overseas to develop client briefs, attend manufacturing facilities for review of prototype designs prior to production.
It’s likely you will be from a technical design background (degree qualified in either Furniture or Interior Design) with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the retail fit out market. You will be fully proficient with both CAD and Solidworks 3D design packages.
