SENIOR PLANNER – CLAIMS CONSULTANT – CONSTRUCTION – LONDON – THAILAND

London based with Overseas Travel
Our Client, a well-known firm of international commercial and claims consultants provides support and technical advice on some of the World’s largest and most prestigious construction projects.
They have identified a number of business opportunities internationally requiring the services of a Claims professional to assist the time claims team on delays and recovery issues.
This is a London based role with international travel (short trips) to all four corners of the globe, to include Africa, The Far East, Middle East and Europe.
You will be from a ‘Construction’ background, this could be building, civil engineering or process. The key factor is a broad experience on major projects internationally.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in either Construction Management or Civil Engineering and ideally have a Masters or additional degree in Construction Law. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years proven experience and be chartered members of the CIOB.
As well as extensive planning experience in the preparation of claims and delay analysis, candidates will also need to display contractual and legal skills working on disputes, managing the client and providing expert reports.
You will need to be proficient with the use of Primavera P6 and ASTA Power Project software would also be advantageous, but not essential.
An excellent basic salary is offered and a benefits package which includes a bonus incentive, travel allowance, pension entitlement, life cover and family medical insurance.
